Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
To be truly human means you have a right-relationship with God through prayer. The Lord's Prayer taught us what prayer was supposed to look like.
Questions to ponder about this prayer:
- Do you believe that God is greater than anything else?
- Stop and think about what it means to pray "Your will be done" are you truly prepared to submit to God in that way?
