John 14:4-6 (NIV)
4 “You know the way to the place where I am going.”
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jesus said: ‘I am the way.’ What did He mean?
Imagine we are in a strange town and ask for directions. Imagine the person asked says: “Take the first right and the second left. Cross the park, go past the church, take the third road on the right and the road you want is the fourth on the left.”
Chances are we will be lost before we get halfway.
But instead, imagine the person we ask says: ‘Come, I’ll take you there.’ In this case, the person to us is the way, and we cannot get lost.
That is what Jesus does for us. He does not only give advice and directions, He takes us by the hand and leads us. He strengthens us and guides us personally every day. He does not tell us about the way; He is the way.

- Are you trusting Jesus to lead you to where you need to be?
- What is keeping you from trusting Him fully?
